Audition requests will open following Orientation on Thursday the 27th of February.
Following Orientation, audition requests can be made by emailing
info@shiremusictheatre.org.au

Phone, Email and Role/s you are auditioning for)

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Singing Audition
All auditionees will be required to prepare a singing audition. Songs have been selected for each role. If you are going for numerous roles, please choose the song of your preferred role. As the show relies on the story telling, we will be looking for a cast that can sell the song. Performance is key. Please be as comfortable as you can with your singing audition. Auditions will be performed to the backing tracks provided.

Reading Audition
Each auditionee will need to prepare a reading for their audition. Please choose the reading for your preferred role. It is not expected that you learn the reading off by heart, however we would like to see some preparation has gone into the reading.
**Please note: Not all roles have a decent series of lines within the script to audition from, therefore for some characters ie Wolf, Step Sisters, etc the readings below do not
reflect the character you are auditioning for but will give the panel an insight
in to your performance capabilities**
